Design wise, the Lumia 435 resembles like the Asha series phones and also the Nokia X. The device has a matte finish rear panel and exhibits great quality. The power and volume keys are on the right side and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top. The micro USB charging slot is at the bottom. The rear panel houses the 2MP camera, speakers and also the Microsoft logo.
The front panel has the 4 inch WVGA display and the three capacitive touch buttons. The recent Lumia phones have had on screen buttons and Microsoft is now back to touch buttons on Lumia 435. Overall, the build quality, fit and finish looks really good and the device feels solid in hands.
The 4 inch WVGA display although has low resolution (480 X 800), it does look vibrant and colorful. The touch response is excellent on the display. The Lumia 535 has an issue with touch, but Lumia 435 is good with the touch response. The phone has dual SIM card support and also microSD for expanding the storage. There is also 1560mAh battery included which is removable.
The phone is powered by dual core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, out of which close to 4.5GB is available to the user on first boot. You can expand the storage and also install apps directly on the SD card. The performance was good on the device and did not have any lags in the first use.
The device is priced Rs 5999 and available on Flipkart. We will have the detailed review coming up on our blog soon, meanwhile do check out our YouTube channel for more videos on this device.
Nice phones! They do look a tad small though, which could be a setback, considering how everyone seems to be going big these days.
