Motorola has just announced the upgraded version of Moto E, the budget smartphone from the company which was announced last year in May. The new Moto E or Moto E 2015 version comes with upgraded specs when compared to the first generation. The Moto E 2015 features a 4.5 inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad Core Processor (first generation was powered by Dual core processor). There is 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, up from 4GB on the first gen. This is also the first 64 bit devices from Motorola.
The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of box. There is also 5MP rear camera on the device. While the camera resolution has not changed, the processing might be better with the Snapdragon 410 SoC.
