Motorola has announced the second generation of its budget smartphone, the Moto E. The new Moto E or the Moto E 2015 version comes with improvement over the existing variants. The phone comes in $G LTE and 3G variants and both the devices have different hardware. While the 4G LTE variant runs on Snapdragon 410 64 bit processor, the 3G variant is powered by Snapdragon 200 Quad core processor. Both the variants have 4.5 inch qHD display, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the device comes with 5MP rear camera with auto focus and VGA front facing camera. The battery capacity has been increased to 2390mAh.
According to the Moto E promotional video from Motorola on their YouTube channel, the device price in India has been revealed. As of now there is only mention of 3G variant, but we expect Motorola to announce the 4G LTE also in India since there is still competition from Lenovo A6000, Yureka and Redmi Note, all having 4G in the budget category.
The pricing for 3G variant remains the same as the first generation one at Rs 6999.
