After releasing the flagship device Elife E7 back in December 2013, Gionee has finally released the KitKat update for the device. The device was announced in December 2013 and came with pretty impressive specs including 5.5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and 2GB internal storage.
It also had an excellent 16MP camera and 2500mAh battery. The device was released with Android 4.2, but there was no 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Finally the company is rolling out the KitKat update for the device.

The update is OTA and is around 882MB in size and brings in lots of improvements and features to the device.
So if you have the device, connect the device to Wi-Fi and check for the updates. There are lots of improvements included in this update. If you have already updated, share your feedback on the new version.
