At the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015), Gionee has announced the company’s flagship device, the Elife S7. Unlike the E series phones from the company, the S series is known for its slim profile and the S7 also has a slim design. At just 5.5mm thick which is similar to S5.5, the S7 has an aluminum magnesium alloy unibody design with Gorilla glass 3 on the front and rear.
The device comes with 5.2-inch SUPER AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device runs on 64 bit processor from Mediatek’s clocked at 1.7Ghz and is an Octa core processor. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has custom Amigo UI 3.0 which is the company’s custom UI. On the imaging front, the device has 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone supports dual SIM card and this is the first slim device to have this feature. There is also 4G LTE available in India. The only downside of the device is that it comes with 16GB storage and there is no expandable micro SD card support.

Price and Release Date:
The device is expected to arrive in India on 3rd April, there is no mention on the pricing though. We expect the device to be around Rs 25000 when it launches in India.
