Huawei announced two new devices in the Honor series in India, the Honor 4X and also the Honor 6 Plus. The Honor 4X is budget device with impressive specs and competes with Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G. It comes with 5.5-Inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Quad Core Processor and runs Android 4.4 KitKat on top of Emotion UI 3.0. On the camera front, it features, 13MP Rear camera With LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
It comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB using microSD. The device supports Dual Micro SIM and packs 3000 mAh Battery. Here is the unboxing of the device (limited edition) and the first impressions.

Design wise, the device looks very similar to the Yu Yureka and has the volume and power buttons on the right side and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top and the micro USB charging slot at the bottom. The rear panel has a matte finish which comes with a pattern. The phone has the 13MP rear camera with LED flash and the Honor branding.
The front panel has the 5.5inch HD display, front camera and the sensors. At the bottom there is the three capacitive touch bottoms which have the Android Lollipop design, even though the phone runs KitKat. The overall build quality of the device is good.
The Honor 4X comes in the phablet series with a 5.5 inch display and it is a device which is not really easy in hands. But Honor has managed with up minimum bezels around the display. The display is 720p HD with good colors and great viewing angles. The touch response was also pretty good on the device.
The phone has dual SIM card support with 4G LTE support and also microSD for expanding the storage. There is also 3000mAh massive battery included which is non-removable.
The phone is powered by Quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, out of which close to 3.8GB is available to the user on first boot. You can expand the storage via microSD card. The performance was good on the device and did not have any lags in the first use. The phone has a custom Emotion UI 3.0 (EMUI) and comes with lots of customizations and features.
