Lenovo had great success with the A6000 which was a budget smartphone and launched at the CES 2015. Going by the success of this device, Lenovo announced the new A7000 at the MWC2015 and it comes with impressive specs. The device is a 5.5 inch phablet which sports a HD (1280 X720p) display and is powered by a 64 bit MediaTek MT6752m TruOcta Core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz along with 2GB RAM.
The phone is launching in India on April 7th and should be available pretty soon. The phone is expected to be priced in the sub 10k range and will compete with Yu Yureka, Honor 4X and the Redmi Note 4G.
We now have AnTuTu benchmark scores for this device and it suggest this device to a powerful phablet in the budget category. The AnTuTu score for Lenovo A7000 is at 42538 and this is a huge score considering the phone is in the budget category.
The TruOcta core Mediatek processor seems to be really powerful and it also supports 4G LTE in India. The Lenovo A7000 is also the world’s first Android smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos technology for an amazing headphone experience.
