Lenovo had joined the flash sale on Flipkart with the A6000 which was first announced at the CES 2015. It went on sale in India in Jan 2015 and was a massive hit selling close to 3,00,000 devices in short span. With the success of A6000, the company launched the A7000, a bigger variant of the device with better specs and also 4G LTE supported. This device went on sale today on Flipkart and the first lot of 30000 devices were sold out in 4 seconds.
During the flash sale, the company announced yet another device in the A series, the A6000 Plus which will have slight better specs than the A6000. Ideally the A6000 Plus will be positioned between the A6000 and A7000.

The A6000 Plus features the same 5 inch HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM. The RAM has been upped from 1GB on the A6000. The phone will also come with 16GB internal storage which is again better than A6000 with 8GB storage. The phone will run Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI and probably will be upgradable to Lollipop like the A6000.
Rest of the other features remain the same which includes 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The phone also supports 4G LTE like the A6000.
There is no mention on the pricing, but we expect the device to be priced between the A6000 and the A7000 which means ideally it would be Rs 7999. The device will again be exclusive to Flipkart and will have the same flash sale model.
Update: The Lenovo A6000 Plus is priced Rs 7499 and will go on sale on April 28th on Flipkart. You can order the device from here.
