Yu Yureka is the first device from Yu under the partnership with Cyanogen Inc and it was launched in December 2014 and went on sale early this year. Yureka received overwheming response in the past couple of months for the excellent hardware it offered at a very low price point.
Another main aspect of the device is that it runs Cyanogen OS and Yu (a subsidiary of Micromax) has a exclusive deal for selling Cyanogen OS based devices in India. The Yureka was announced with Android 4.4 KitKat and the upgrade to Lollipop was promised.
