Lenovo has launched a new devices in the K series, the K80 which comes with 4GB of RAM. The ASUS Zenfone 2 was the first device to launch with 4GB RAM back in CES 2015. Xiaomi’s Note Pro which was also announced early this year comes with 4GB of RAM. The highlight of Lenovo K80 is that the device comes with 4GB RAM and also features 64GB internal storage along with a massive battery.
The device comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display and is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom chipset with 1.8GHz CPU. There is also a 2GB variant with 32GB on board storage announced alongside this device.
On the camera, the phone has 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and probably dual LED flash. There is no mention on the front camera on this device, but we expect this to be 5MP. The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo’s custom Vibe UI. The phone is just 8.5mm thin and comes in black, silver, and red color options.
The phone also features a massive 4000mAh battery which should give at least 1.5 days of life. The device is priced CNY 1,799 which comes to approximately Rs 18500, while the 2GB RAM variant is priced CNY 1499 (approx Rs 15500). Lenovo hasn’t confirmed on whether this device will be launched in global markets.
