Sony has today announced a new smartphone which provides better selfie experience- the Sony Xperia C4. The Xperia C4 features a best in class 5MP front camera, a Full HD display and superior performance according to Sony. The phone packs a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6752 Octa Core 64 bit processor with 2GB RAM. The phone also comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card.
The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony’s custom UI.
The selfie camera is one of the highlight of the device. It comes with a powerful 5MP front camera with 25mm wide-angle lens. Sony’s Exmor Rfor mobile sensor, soft LED flash and HDR features means the pictures will always be stunning, even in those ‘hard to perfect’ low light conditions, according to the company. Superior auto automatically optimises settings to give you the best possible picture and SteadyShot technology compensates for any camera shake.
There is also a 13MP rear camera with LED flash which should satisfy all your photography needs without compromise.
The phone packs a 2600mAh battery along with Stamina mode for better battery life. On the connectivity front, the phone has Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GLONASS, Miracast, microUSB and Wi-Fi. The phone also features 4G LTE support which will not be available in all markets. Xperia C4 will be available in Single SIM and Dual SIM in select markets from the beginning of June 2015.
Xperia C4 comes in a choice of white, black and a vibrant mint. There is no mention on the pricing as of now.
