After Xiaomi, Oppo, Gionee and Vivo, Meizu has made an entry into India. Meizu is a Chinese consumer electronics company based in China and one of the top ten smartphone manufacturers in China. The company has entered India with the launch of M1 Note in India.
Meizu M1 Note was first announced in December 2014 in China and it features a 5.5″ IGZO display which has Full HD resolution (1080p) with a pixel density of 403ppi. The phone utilizes the 64-bit MT6752 chipset from Mediatek which is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali-T760 GPU.
The phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage option. There is no micro SD expansion slot similar to Mi4i. Meizu M1 Note has a unibody polycarbonate chassis and can take two SIM cards with a tray that’s accessed from the side. The phone supports 4G LTE in India.
On the imaging front, the phone packs a 13MP camera made by Samsung and can shoot videos in 1080p. The rear camera has 5-element lens with ƒ/2.2. A 5MP camera takes up the front with a 4-element lens and 69 degree wide angle lens.
The phone also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display.
The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with a custom Flyme 4.0 which is a UI similar to MIUI and EMUI.
The phone is available in green, pink, blue, yellow and white colors and has a lot of resemblance to iPhone 5C. The device measures 75.2 x 150.7 x 8.9mm and weighs 145 grams. The phone packs a 3,140mAh battery.
It comes with plethora of sensors including Hall Effect Sensor, Gravity Sensor, Infrared Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Touch Sensor and Digital Compass.
