ZTE’s sub brand the Nubia has made an entry into India with the launch of Nubia Z9 Mini. Nubia is a brand for ZTE similar to Honor series from Huawei. Nubia Z9 Mini is the stripped down variant of the flagship phone Z9 and it comes with a 5 inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 441ppi and also has IPS OGS technology. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display.
It is powered by 1.5Ghz 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa Core processor and Adreno 405 GPU along with 2GB of RAM.
The phone comes with 16GB internal storage and also features expansion slot via microSD card. On the imaging front the device has a 16MP rear camera with 6 lens layout and f/2.0 and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it also features a front 8MP camera. The camera app also sports options to control the photo parameters manually.
The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a custom Nubia v2.8 UI. On the connectivity front it also comes with 4G LTE support and has the usual set of options. The phone has dual SIM cards which is dual nano SIM card.
The phone has 3000mAh battery which is non removable. The device is priced Rs 16999 and available exclusively on Amazon. The black variant can be purchased from here. The device has similar specs to that of Xiaomi Mi4i and also ASUS Zenfone 2, both are priced lower than Nubia Z9 Mini.
