Meizu has today announced the successor to M1 Note, the Meizu M2 Note in China. The new M2 Note comes with upgraded specs when compared to the predecessor. Meizu has entered India couple of weeks back and launched the M1 Note (review). The new M2 Note comes with 5.5 inch Full HD display similar to the M1 Note. The device is powered by a 1.3Ghz MT6753 Octa Core processor from MediaTek which is a 64 bit processor along with Mali-T720GPU. There is 2GB RAM included in the device.
The phone comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage options along with support for micro SD card.
The phone also comes with 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera. The device comes with 4G LTE support and the second SIM card slot acts as a micro SD card slot as well.
The device comes pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s Flyme UI on top of Google’s operating system. There is also 3100mAh battery included in the phone. Another interesting aspect of the device is that it comes with a physical home button below the display, and will be available in Blue, White, Rose and Gray color options. The phone resembles its predecessor in many ways, though the physical home button does differentiate it to some extent. The phone weighs 149g and is 8.7mm thin.
On the connectivity, the device has Bluetooth, USB OTG and 4G LTE support.

The device is priced ¥799 for the 16GB variant and ¥999 for the 32GB variant. The device goes on sale today in China.
