This year will be the year when India might see 4G LTE roll out across multiple locations. Indian mobile market is slowing getting into the 4G LTE with networking rolling out in few cities. Taking this into consideration, lot of mobile OEMs are not focusing on 4G LTE supported handsets as India supports TD LTE.
In the last couple of months, we have seen new 4G supported phones coming to India in the mid range and also the budget category. The Redmi 2 initially set the benchmark in the sub 7kprice point and now we have other great devices in the budget category with 4G support. So here is a list of 4G LTE supported phone below Rs 7000 in India. We will be updating the list when new devices launch in India.
Lenovo A6000 Plus
The device sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The device runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe 2.0 UI and supports Dual (micro) SIM. The device comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, which is expandable with microSD compared to 1 GB RAM and 8GB internal memory in Lenovo A6000. The device also packs a 2300mAh battery. Redmi 2
The Redmi 2 comes with 4.7 inch (1280 X 720P) IPS HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad Core processor with 64-bit support and Adreno 305 GPU. The phone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is similar to Redmi 1S.There is dual SIM card support and runs MIUI v6 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat. The internal storage can be expanded via micro SD card upto 32GB. On the imaging front the phone has 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor and 1080p video recording support and a 2MP front-facing camera, 720P HD video recording which is again similar to the Redmi 1S. The camera also is improved with new filters and also features. The phone also has 2200mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 6999.
Yu Yuphoria
The Yuphoria comes with 5 inch display which has HD resolution (1280 X 720p) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it runs on Snapdragon 410 64 bit Quad core processor. The Yureka was powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor and now the company has used Quad core instead on Octa core probably because of complaints on 615 processor. There is 2GB DDR3 RAM and the device also comes with 16GB internal storage similar to Yureka. On the imaging front there is 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with full HD recording. The phone comes with 2230mAh battery with quick charge where in you can charge from 0 to 65% in 45 minutes. The Yu Yuphoria comes in two colors Black (Buffed Steel) and white (Champagne gold) colors and is priced Rs 6999.
Coolpad Dazen 1
Coolpad Dazen 1 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor and runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Cool UI 6. On the camera end it features 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5MP front-facing camera. The device supports Dual SIM and connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Lumia 638
Lumia 638 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan. On the imaging front it features a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera without flash and does not have a front facing camera. The device supports CDMA and GSM SIM cards and has 1 GB RAM. It has TD-LTE Band 40 for India that works with Airtel. ZTE Blade Qlux 4G:
The phone comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display (854 X 480) and is powered by Mediatek MTK6732M 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with a 1 GB RAM. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G supports 4G bands of 1800 MHz (Band Class 3) & 2300 MHz (Band Class 40) to offer great compatibility with existing and future 4G networks planned to be rolled out in the coming months in India.
