LG G4 is the flagship phone for LG and the company has announced the device today in India. The phone is priced Rs 49999 and comes with 5.5 inch Quad HD 2560×1440 display with 534ppi and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Design wise, the phone has power and volume keys in the rear panel similar to the G3.
It is powered by Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz and Adreno 418 GPU. The phone features 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card to 128GB.
On the camera front, the device features a 16MP sensor with a wide f/1.8 aperture with dual-tone dual LED flash, laser autofocus module and optical image stabilization similar to predecessor. There’s 4K video recording, and improved sensor-based navigation, according to Qualcomm. The device comes with a 8MP front camera as well for selfies and video calls.
The rear panel does not feature the self healing back cover found on G Flex 2, but comes with a textured scratch resistant cover and also features leather back panels. The device is made of polycarbonate material. LG has a proprietary treatment to the leather cover, but the durability aspects doesn’t look that great.
