Design and Build:
Design wise, the ZenPower has lot of resemblance to the Mi Powerbank, but it does have smaller dimensions compared to Mi. The ZenPower is made of aluminium cover with a smooth finishing and is pretty compact and has the size of your credit card. The thickness is slightly on the higher side makes it tough for pockets.
The power bank has curved finishing on the sides and has the ASUS branding. The build quality of the power bank is superior and is built to last. It comes with LED strip battery indicator, a power switch, a micro USB for charging the device and the USB for output.
Performance:
We tested the powerbank for the capacity and we could get more than 2 full charges on this powerbank with a 3000+ mAh battery, so that means you get close to 3 charges if your smartphone has smaller battery. The disappointing aspect is the lack of second USB which is much needed on a high capacity powerbank. There are four LED lights to indicate the remaining charge.
The 5.1V 2.4A output from the powerbank was able to charge smartphones pretty quickly and the performance was good.
Verdict:
ASUS Zenpower is indeed a quality product from the company, but the device is a tad too expensive compared to what is being offered by Xiaomi’s MiPower bank. ZenPower comes in different colors and has a great build quality along with compact design.
The Asus ZenPower has 11 layers of protection, features full USB port with 5V/2.4V output, a micro USB slot for charging, a power button and four LED lights. its very good
