Lenovo has today launched yet another mid range device, the K3 Note in India. After the huge success of 4G phones, which the company sold more than a million in India, the company is launching yet another 4G LTE phone. The Lenovo K3 Note comes with 5.5 inch Full HD display (1920 X 1080P) and has a IPS panel with a pixel density of 401ppi. The device is powered by 1.7Ghz Tru Octa Core Mediatek MT6752 processor which is also a 64 bit processor. It has the Mali-T760MP2 along with 2GB RAM.
The phone also comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card. The processor is the same which powered the Lenovo A7000 and we saw great performance.
The phone is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop along with the custom Vibe UI which is version 2.5. On the camera front, the phone packs a 13MP rear camera along with dual tone LED flash. There is also 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is 8mm thick and weighs 150gms. Lenovo K3 Note comes with dual SIM card support and has 4G LTE connectivity in India similar to A600 Plus and Lenovo A7000. The phone also comes with USB OTG support which was missing on A6000.
Design wise, the phone is very similar to A7000 (review) which was launched couple of months back. The phone also comes with 3000mAh battery which should be decent for a day of usage. The K3 Note will compete with Meizu M1 Note, Xiaomi Mi4i and also ASUS Zenfone 2. Lenovo has had great success with A6000 Plus and also A7000, so the company is banking on K3 Note to power its mid range portfolio.
