Yu Yureka was the first device from Yu Televentures which was launched in December last year and it went on to become a huge success especially for the Cyanogen OS and the great pricing. Now the competition is getting stiffer with Lenovo announcing K3 Note with amazing specs at Rs 9999. Yu has now announced an upgraded version of Yureka, the Yu Yureka Plus.
Yu Yureka Plus comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display and this is the only major change in the device compared to Yureka. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor coupled with 2GB RAM.
Eureka Plus is powered by Android 5.0 with Cyanogen OS 12. On the imaging front, the phone packs the same 13MP camera which was found in Yureka along with a 5MP front camera. There is also corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display.
The phone comes in Moondust grey and limited edition white colors. It also has 4G LTE and comes with a 2500mAh battery. While the battery life on Yureka was decent, we are not sure how it will perform with a Full HD display. The phone is priced Rs 9999, the same pricing of K3 Note and will go on Sale on July 24th, you can register it now.
Nirmal do you know if this is 2nd gen 615 processor?Do you recommend buying this phone instead of Lenovo? Thanks.
According to Qualcomm there is only one 615 processor and nothing like 1st gen and 2nd gen, those are marketting gimmicks by companies.
