ASUS has launched a plethora of phones at their Zen festival event in New Delhi today. The new devices launched at Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone 2 Laser in India. The Zenfone 2 Deluxe is basically the Zenfone 2 top end variant with some changes to the design. The rear panel of the Zenfone 2 Deluxe comes with a premium polygonal material. Apart from this, the specs are similar to Zenfone 2 with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor.
There is a 13-megapixel rear PixelMaster camera with Real Tone flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI.
There is 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage included along with expandable option via micro SD card. There is also 4G LTE support and 3000mAh battery with dual SIM cards.
The Zenfone 2 Laser as the name indicates comes with a laser auto-focus and comes in three different variants across different price segments. The phone comes in 5.5 inch and 6 inch display sizes and features a Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 64 bit processors. This is the first time ASUS has gone with Snapdragon chipset. The 5.5 inch variant comes with 2GB and 3GB RAM and are powered by Snapdragon 410 and Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor and has HD display. The Laser series comes with corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and has 13MP rear camera with dual Tone LED flash and laser autofocus and a 5MP front camera.
The Laser series is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI. The device comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card. The Zenfone 2 Laser also supports 4G LTE in India.
Zenfone Selfie comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display with 403ppi and has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor. The phone also comes with rear 13MP camera with dual LED flash and laser auto focus similar to the one found on LG G4. The phone has design very similar to Zenfone 2 and we are expecting the device to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The front camera on the device has f/2.2 with its 88-degree field of view and there is also panorama mode that extends this to 140 degrees, letting you easily take group pictures.
The phone has 3GB of RAM and has 16/32GB storage option along with 3000mAh battery.
