ZUK Z1 has been officially announced and this is the first smartphone from Lenovo backed start up company ZUK. The phone comes with impressive specs and features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080p) display and is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC.
The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and also features USB 3.0 Type-C port which is now available on OnePlus 2 as well.
The phone has 64GB internal storage and also features a fingerprint sensor which is now becoming one of the common feature on most flagship devices. On the imaging front, the phone features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash with f/2.2 aperture and a 8MP front-facing camera.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with dual SIM card support with 4G LTE. The phone has a custom UI on top of Android called the ZUI. The phone is made of aircraft-grade aluminum metal frame which makes the device really premium.
ZUK Z1 also comes with a massive 4100mAh battery which should solve all battery woes.
As of now the phone is available only in China and is priced 1799 Yuan which converts to approx $285. There is no mention on whether this device will launch globally. Since this device is backed by Lenovo we expect this to come to other countries as well.
