4G roll out in India is shaping up gradually and now we have Airtel launching 4G services in almost close to 300 cities and towns in India. India will also see Reliance 4G towards the end of this year. This year will be the year when India might see 4G LTE roll out across multiple locations. Taking this into consideration, lot of mobile OEMs are not focusing on 4G LTE supported handsets as India supports TD LTE.
In the last couple of months, we have seen new 4G supported phones coming to India in the mid range and also the budget category. The Redmi 2 initially set the benchmark in the sub 7k price point and now we have other great devices in the budget category with 4G support. So here is a list of 4G LTE supported phone below Rs 5000 in India. We will be updating the list when new devices launch in India.
