Chinese based mobile OEM, Elephone has announced their new devices in partnership with iberry and will be called iberry Auxus Prime P8000. The phone is the rebranded Elephone P8000 which comes with impressive specs. The phone packs a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by 64-bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The device comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with dual-SIM and dual standby support. The handset supports dual Micro-SIM cards with 4G LTE support.
On the imaging front the Auxus Prime P8000 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Samsung sensor and also features a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The handset also features a fingerprint scanner, a highlight of the device and not found on mid range phones. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear panel of the device.
The phone packs a 4165 mAh battery which is again impressive and should provide atleast one and a half days of backup. Auxus Prime P8000 is priced at Rs. 14,990 for the Matte White variant and Gold Edition which is a limited edition will be priced at Rs. 15,990. It will be exclusively available on Snapdeal by end of this month. The phone comes with one year warranty and the company has close to 350 service centers across India.
