The smartphone market is flooded with devices which are not just in the flagship category but also in affordable segments like the ones from OnePlus and Xiaomi. These phones offer flagship like experience in the affordable segment.
Now we have a new company called Wileyfox which has announced their new devices, the Storm and Swift. The standout feature of these two devices is that it comes with Cyanogen OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Wileyfox Storm comes with flagship like features and it has a 5.5 inch Full HD display and is powered by the 64 bit Octa core Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is micro SD card support upto 128GB.
On the imaging front, it features a 20MP primary camera and a 8MP front camera for selfies. The battery capacity is at 2500mAh and it supports 4G LTE and comes with dual SIM cards. The device is priced £199 ($310 approx).
On the other hand Swift is more of a budget device with a 5 inch HD (1280 X 720p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 support and is powered by Snapdragon 410 Quad core 64 bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable to 32GB via SD card. On the imaging front the phone has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The phone has 2500mAh battery along with 4G LTE support and dual SIM cards.
Both the phones run on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Pre-orders for both the devices start next week and deliveries are expected in October. The phone will be available in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
