We have previously covered the Snipping tool for Windows 10 which comes built in and allows you to do screen captures. Now Microsoft has released a new screen capture tool called Microsoft Snip. This new tool has more features than the Snipping tool and allows user to capture screen shots and then add annotation to the image and also add voice and then share it online.
The tool is available for download for free and once installed it sits on top of desktop in minimized mode. You can hover over it to get it into action.
There are three modes available, first is free snip, second is whiteboard and third is to use the camera to capture an image and annotate.
You can use the recorder to add a voice to the capture before sharing it. For annotation there is a choice of four colors along with eraser tool. All the captures are stored in the library. There is also option to share the capture via email.
The Snip tool is pretty handy one from Microsoft and basically an advanced version of the existing snipping tool. The app is currently in beta version and available for Windows desktop.
