The device is pretty compact as it is just a 4.5 inch device. Design looks decent for a budget device with a matte finish rear panel and the build quality looks good. The rear panel has a 5MP camera, LED flash, Lenovo branding and speaker located at the bottom. The front panel has 2MP camera, three capacitive buttons and the 4.5 inch display.
The power and volume keys are on the right side and the micro USB charging slot and 3.5mm jack are on the top. Overall, the phone looks good for a budget phone with good finishing.
The phone comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display (480 X 854 pixels) and the display looks pretty dull and pixelated. With the low resolution, the sharpness levels are poor and colors doesn’t look great. The touch response seems decent and there is already a screen guard placed on the display. The phone comes with dual SIM card and has 4G support. The phone also comes with 8GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card. The storage available in the first boot is around 3.8GB.
In the initial usage, the performance was decent and there was no issues. It is powered by the 1.0 GHz Mediatek 64 bit Quad core processor with 1GB RAM. The software is Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom Vibe UI which offers some level of customizations, but the UI is stripped down from what we saw on other budget phones from Lenovo. The phone packs a 5MP camera with LED flash and fixed focus. The camera quality was poor and not really recommended for a budget phone. We will have detailed review of the camera soon.
The device is priced Rs 4999 and available on Flipkart. We will have the detailed review coming up on our blog soon, meanwhile do check out our YouTube channel for more videos on this device.
