Lenovo had announced the budget 4G LTE enabled A6000 at the CES 2015 and it was soon launched in India as well. After the success of A6000, company launched the upgraded A6000 Plus. Both these devices were running Android 4.4 KitKat when they were launched in India. Now the company is rolling out the Android Lollipop update for both these devices.
The company had released Android Lollipop for its flagship device, the Vibe X2 few weeks back. If you have the A6000 or A6000 Plus, you can now upgrade the devcie to Lollipop.
Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus comes with 5 inch HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 410 Quad core chipset. While the A6000 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, the A6000 Plus has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Both the phones have 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The Lollipop upgrade brings in the new material design to the devices along with new notification center.
The Android Lollipop OTA (Over the Air) update for the A6000 is around 995MB in size and the A6000 Plus update is around 1.09GB in size.
