There is 8GB internal storage and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It also features 8MP rear camera with LED flash and front 2MP camera. Here is the unboxing of the Yu Yunique and the first impressions of the device.
Here is the unboxing video.

Design wise, the Yunique has lot of similarities with the Yuphoria. But unlike the Yuphoria which is made of metal frame, this sports a plastic build. The power and volume keys have the same layout with power key placed between the volume keys. The 3.5mm audio jack is on the top while the micro USB charging slot is at the bottom.
The rear panel has the same Saturn ring design found in the Yuphoria for the camera unit which also includes a flash. The speaker is located at the bottom. The front panel houses the 4.7 inch HD display, Yu logo, front camera and the sensors. The navigational buttons are on screen.
Overall the device looks pretty good considering that this is an ultra budget smartphone. The rear panel matt finish material quality is also impressive. The rear panel is removable, but the battery is a fixed unit.
The phone has 4.7 inch HD (1280 X 720p) IPS LCD display. The display quality was just average and the colors changed when we tilted the display. The display quality is not comparable to Redmi 2 or Yuphoria even though all the devices have HD panel. The touch response was decent and was sticky at times.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 410 Quad core chipset with 1GB RAM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. While Yureka and Yuphoria were running on Cyanogen OS, this is more of stock Android experience with very less customizations. The performance in the first usage was good and not lags were noticed. The phone has 8GB storage and is expandable via micro SD card. There is 4.08 GB of storage available in the first boot.
The phone has 8MP rear camera and a front 2MP camera. The camera interface is a new one, but does feature modes and other options. We will have the detailed camera review soon, so stay tuned. The phone also ships with 2000mAh battery which should be good enough for a 4.7 inch device. It also comes with dual SIM card and 4G LTE support.
The device is priced Rs 4999 and available exclusively on Snapdeal. We will have the detailed review coming up on our blog soon, meanwhile do check out our YouTube channel for more videos on this device.
