Lenovo had announced the new Vibe Shot at the Mobile World Congress which is basically a cross over device. This means it is a smartphone and also will act as a superior camera. Lenovo’s first camera and smartphone crossover, the sleek and lightweight VIBE Shot is the ultimate smartphone for photos. It features a 5.0 inch Full HD display and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz Octa Core with 3GB RAM.
There is 32GB of storage, 4G connectivity and the latest Android OS (5.0 Lollipop). The 16 megapixel rear camera includes an infrared autofocus feature with 6-piece modular lens and full-frame 16:9 low-light sensor to take sharp and steady photos, while a physical shutter button makes the phone feel more like a camera delivering the perfect shot every time.
There is also a 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone comes with a tri color flash which is first of its kind on a smartphone. The internal storage available is around 25GB in the first boot. The phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with a custom Vibe UI and the UI is a new version. It is also upgradable to Android Marshmallow, but the company has not announced any timeline.
The phone comes with 4G LTE and there is also support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE). The phone also supports dual Nano SIM cards.
The phone comes with 2900mAh battery which should be good enough for a 5 inch device. The phone comes in two colors- Red and Grey. The phone is priced Rs 25499 and will be available for pre-order from ThedoStore of Lenovo and it will be also be sold in retail stores across India. This is not an online exclusive device.
