Apple had announced the next generation of iPhones, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus couple of weeks back. The iPhone 6S comes with a 4.7 inch Retina display and the 6S Plus comes with 5.5 inch Retina display. Similar to the iPad Pro, the new iPhones comes with A9X SoC which is 64 bit architecture which is major upgrade from the A8 series available in the previous phones.
While the official launch of iPhone 6S and 6s Plus is on October 16th, we now have the confirmed pricing of the two devices.
The official pricing was revealed by authorized resellers in India and the company has also reduced the pricing of older models in India. Below are the pricing of the new devices along with re-pricing of the older models.
Considering last year’s pricing of Rs 53,500 for iPhone 6, this year’s pricing seems to be almost steep increase and this could be related to rupee depreciating and also higher import duties.
If you are looking for older models, iPhone 5S now starts at Rs 35,000 and iPhone 6 starts at Rs 52,000.
