Coolpad had announced a new budget device to its portfolio, the Coolpad Note 3. Earlier this year Coolpad had announced the Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 smartphones . The Coolpad Note 3 was launched in China back in June, but the Indian variant has slightly better specs in the form of 3GB RAM. Teh device comes with a 5.5 inch HD (1280 X 720P) display and is powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU.
The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and there is 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via SD card.
On the imaging front, the phone packs a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash with auto focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a CMOS image sensor. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI on top of it. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner whcih is first of its kind on a budget device. It is also the first time we are seeing 3GB of RAM in the sub 10k price point.
The phone has dual SIM card support and runs on 3,000mAh battery.
