Back at IFA 2015, Lenovo had announced a new selfie focussed smartphone, the Vibe S1. With Selfie has becoming an obsession with smartphone users, almost all OEMs are now capturing market with more and more selfie focused smartphones and Lenovo has joined the bandwagon with the new Vibe S1.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 is the world’s first selfie focused smartphone with dual front cameras. The front dual camera set up comes with a 8MP camera which captures the images and there is also a 2MP camera for analysing the depth of field for bookeh effects.
The Vibe S1 comes with a 5 inch Full HD Display and is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Design wise, the Vibe S1 looks pretty good. There is also 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual tone LED flash. The internal storage is at 32GB which is expandable via micro SD card similar to other devices.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the custom Vibe UI from the company. It will come with 4G LTE support similar to other Lenovo phones. The device comes in two colors Pearl White and Midnight Blue.
The Vibe S1 is priced Rs 15999 and will be available starting midnight today on Amazon India.
