Xiaomi India has announced the upgraded version of Redmi Note, the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime. Redmi Note Prime is the second Mi phone to be manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group. Redmi Note Prime is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G and comes with 5.5 inch HD display and is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB Flash (expandable to 32GB) and a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor.
The first generation Redmi Note had just 8GB storage and this has been upgraded in the Redmi Note Prime.
The phone comes with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device has 4G LTE support along with dual SIM cards. The phone also comes with 3100mAh battery. The phone also has the latest version of MIUI 7 on top of Android.
The device is priced Rs 8499 and will be available exclusively on Amazon. The sale will start at 10AM on December 15th. You can buy the device from here.
