After a long wait, Yu has finally announced the flagship device of the company, the Yu Yutopia. The device was first teased on social media back in October and it was expected to be launched during the festive season. The Yu Yutopia is the company’s flagship and comes with high end specs which includes a 5.2 inch Quad HD (2560×1440) display protected by Corning Concore glass. The company claims this is the most powerful phone on the planet.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage along with microSD card expansion slot.
Yutopia packs a 21-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities for shutterbugs and there is an 8MP selfie camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. The camera also has Slo-mo HD video at 120 FPS.
The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Cyanogen OS 12.1 on top of it. It comes with all the sensors you need on a flagship including 6-Axis Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Barometer, eCompass, Fingerprint sensor.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel, below the camera. The phone is just 160 gms and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0. Crafted from aircraft grade Aluminium that makes Yutopia 90% stronger than other metal phones.
The device has 3000mAh battery and comes in grey color. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon and is priced Rs 24999.
