HTC has took the wraps off its latest smartphone, the HTC One X9. The device is now listed on the company’s website in China. The HTC One X9 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920X 1080p) display with 401ppi and a 170-degree viewing angle. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio X10 Octa core chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the imaging front, the HTC One X9 includes a 13MP rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) that can detect body shake in 0.125 milliseconds, a BSI back-illuminated sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, and LED-flash. It can also record videos in 4K resolution. The front-facing camera is at 5MP fixed-focus camera comes with an f/2.0 aperture and full-HD recording.
The phone runs on Android with HTC’s Sense UI. There is dual SIM card support along with 4G LTE. On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. The phone also comes with 3000mAh battery which supports fast charging.
The dual front facing speakers on the device come with Dolby support. One of the features missing on the device is the fingerprint scanner. The phone is just 7.99mm thick and weighs roughly 170 grams and will be available in Gunmetal Grey and Silver colour variants. The phone is priced 2399 Yuan which is approx Rs 24500 in INR. The device will go on sale in China and HTC has not mentioned about the global availability.
