Netflix is one of the most popular on-demand Internet streaming media service available to viewers in all of North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and parts of Europe. The company is expanding across the globe and has announced 130 new countries along with India.
This means you will be able to watch the favorite TV shows or movies using your monthly subscription plan.
This was announced at the keynote in CES 2016. Announcing this, Reed Hasting mentioned that hours watched on Netflix in the last quarter was 12 billion hours. Today, the company is launching in 130 new countries which makes it almost a global service. It is now available in India for sign up.
Indian subscription plan starts at Rs 500 for the basic one which does not have HD quality and you can only watch on single screen. The other plans are Rs 650 and Rs 800 per month. The 800 plan (Premium) comes with Ultra HD and you can watch simultaneously in 4 screens.
