Lenovo has been a big player when it comes to budget phones in India. Last year the company launched the popular A6000, A7000 and also the K3 Note. At the Mobile World Congress 2016, the company had launched two budget phones the Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus. Lenovo has today announced the launch the Vibe K5 Plus in India.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with 5 inch Full HD (1920 X 1080p) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The Vibe K5 Plus comes with an Aluminium body which has removable back cover and supports dual SIM card, micro SD card and 4G LTE. There is also dual rear speakers with DOLBY Atmos support. On the imaging front, the Vibe K5 Plus features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP selfie camera.
It is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom Vibe UI on top of it. The Vibe K5 Plus comes with a 2750mAh battery. The device comes in grey, gold and silver variants and is priced Rs 8,499. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 23rd March.
The Vibe K5 Plus will compete with the likes of Yu Yureka Plus, Coolpad Note 3 and also ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser.
