Meizu has announced their flagship phone the Meizu PRO 6 today in China. The phone comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display (1080p) and it has the 3D Press display which responds to the pressure exerted on the display. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor and comes packed with 4GB RAM. This is the flagship processor for MediaTek and it is clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with Mali-T880 GPU.
The device comes with either 3GB or 64GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card to 128GB.
On the imaging front, the phone has 21MP rear camera with a custom lens and it has a redesigned flashlight with 10 LEDs. It supports PDAF phase focusing and laser-assisted focusing. On the front is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with custom Flyme OS from the company. The device also has dual SIM card support along with 4G LTE.
The Meizu PRO 6 is equipped with a high-end Cirrus Logic DAC, which decreases the power consumption by 55%. The phone also features mBack Home button using which you can go back to the home screen by a touch or press. In addition, the mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor can unlock the device with speeds up to 0.2s.
The Meizu PRO 6 supports VoLTE and 4G download speeds of up to 300Mbps. It also comes with a USB 3.1 Type-C port with transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. The phone has 2560mAh battery and it supports mCharge 3.0 which charges the phone in 60 minutes. The phone measures 147.7 x 70.8 x 7.25mm, while it weighs 160 grams. The Meizu PRO 6 comes in Gold, Dark Gray, Silver, Red and Rose Gold color variants.
Meizu PRO 6 retails for 2,499 RMB (~$385) for the 32GB storage version and 2799 RMB (~$430) for the 64GB storage version.
