Micromax has announced two new phones today, the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro. The company announced some massive changes to their device portfolio along with new logo and tagline for the brand. The two new phones announced, the Canvas 6 and canvas 6 Pro has lot of similarities in the specs and they are priced the same as well.
Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro comes with 5.5 inch Full HD (1080p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and fully laminated touch panel. Both the devices are powered by 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio Octa-Core processor. The Canvas 6 comes with 3GB RAM and 3GB internal storage, while the Canvas 6 Pro comes with 4GB RAM and 16GB storage.
The Canvas 6 is more premium device out of the two with metal unibody design along with a fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel. Both the phone comes with 13MP rear camera with PDAF but the front facing camera differs. The Canvas 6 features 8MP front camera while 6 Pro comes with 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Canvas 6 Pro misses out on fingerprint scanner and comes with a plastic finishing.
Both the phone run on custom UI on top of Android.
The Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro comes with 3000mAh battery and on the connectivity front they have 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and micro USB slot. They support dual SIM cards along with micro SD card. Both the devices are priced Rs 13,999 and will go on sale starting April 20th on the company’s new store.
