Honor 10 is the flagship device for Honor in India and was announced last month. The phone comes with powerful hardware and one of the best-looking flagship smartphones with glass and metal build. The device is powered by Kirin 970 Octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Honor 10 packs a dual camera, a 16MP primary camera with RGB sensor and 20MP secondary camera with a monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 for selfies.
The camera on the Honor 10 is really superior and offers a great experience. But one of the missing aspects in the camera was EIS or OIS. While OIS is hardware feature, the company has promised EIS support via an update when the device was announced for India. Now, Honor has rolled out the EIS update for Honor 10 in India. The update size is around 828MB (approx) and brings in a host of features to the device and one of them is EIS support.
With this new update, you can take videos with stabilization turned on. The stabilization is offered both for the rear and front camera. You can enable EIS for 1080p at 30fps and 1080p for 18:9 aspect ratios for both the cameras. Here is the option available in the settings.
