When MIUI 11 was officially announced in India along with the release of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, one of the highlighting features of the new UI was the video wallpaper. While most of the smartphone brands allows you to set any image as your wallpaper, most of them do not offer videos as wallpaper. While there are animated wallpapers, with video wallpaper you can take your own video and set as wallpaper. Now you can set video wallpaper on MIUI 11 and here is how to do it.
How to Set Video Wallpaper on MIUI 11
1. First step is to make sure your phone is updated to MIUI 11. Once it is updated, take the video or download the video to the gallery of your phone.
2. Open the gallery app and select the video. At the bottom you can see three dots, select this option.
3. When you select this option, you can see a pop up menu with option “Set video wallpaper”. Choose this option.
4. In the final step, you can select if want to have sound for your video while it is playing in the background or not. Now click apply and your video will now be set as wallpaper on your smartphone.
