OnePlus has launched their new OnePlus 8 series smartphones globally today and there are two devices announced, the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8. While both the devices come with powerful hardware including Snapdragon 865 Octa core Processor, 5G support and good set of cameras, there are many differences between the two phones. So in this post, lets have a look at what are the differences between OnePlus 8 Pro vs OnePlus 8.

As you can see from the table, there are quite a lot of differences between the two devices including display resolution, cameras, wireless charging, battery capacity, RAM and also Wi-Fi 6 support.
In terms of display, the resolution is what differs in OnePlus 8. While the Pro version gets Quad HD+ resolution, the regular 8 variant has 1080p resolution. In terms of camera, there is a huge difference in terms of sensor. While both the phones have 48MP camera, the Pro gets the new IMX 689 sensor while the 8 gets the older IMX586 sensor. The pro version also gets the 48MP ultra wide angle camera, while 8 gets 16MP ultrawide.
Apart from these, other changes include availability of LPDDR5 RAM on Pro variant along with Wi-Fi 6 support, which are missing on the regular 8 variant. The 8 Pro also gets wireless charging (30W) while 8 does not have wireless charging feature.
