How to Edit a WhatsApp Message:
WhatsApp is rolling out this new feature where in you can edit your message within 15 minutes of sending the message. Once that time period is over, you will not be able to make any more edits and if you feel the message was not correct, you will have to delete it. So let us see how to do it.
Step 1: The first step is to make sure that you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your phone. If not, download and update the latest version from the Play Store or App Store.
Step 2: Type any message that you want to send and press enter, this means the message has been sent.
Step 3: Press and hold the message that you want to edit and you will see an option “Edit” in the menu.
Step 4: Once you click this option, you can see that you will be able to edit the same message. Once the editing is complete, you can press enter and the new message will be updated in the chat.
Step 5: The new message will have a note saying it is an edited message and the time stamp of the edit will also be available along with the message.
This is definitely a useful feature from WhatsApp since we make a lot of mistakes while typing and this option allows you to make changes.
